Sidney Pycroft

Sidney is a third year History and Politics student. He has played cornet for 12 years, playing in a variety of Brass and Concert youth bands at school and in Suffolk. He joined Brass in his second year and has loved the experience of playing in bands at Warwick with great musicians. The highlights of Sidney’s time with Brass so far were TriUni in Durham and UniBrass in Bangor, even with gale-force winds, hills and endless stairs. (He promises not to let Reg be stolen by Leeds next time.)
Sidney also plays in the University Wind Orchestra, is an obsessive book collector and reader, has somehow over the years amassed a collection of discarded sheet music photocopies, and also has an insatiable obsession with penguins. If not deep in the library he is usually found in his second home: The Dirty Duck.
